So, as mentioned in our last post, we want to show you some really healthy super foods, which can easily be incorporated in your every day life.

 

Breakfast:

Granola mix with…

Yoghurt or Quark with…

Fruits of your choice…

for example bananas: they have a lot of magnesium, vitamin C and B, potassium and can make you feel happier because of the high amount of natural neurotransmitter.

then add some…

Oat bran: rich in vitamin B and E, as well in potassium, magnesium, ferritin, calcium, zinc, phosphor and a lot of amino acides.

and…

Coconut sprinkles: the benefits of coconut: helpful for your cholesterol level, contains a lot of potassium, lowers the glycemic index, increases your energy expenditure, helps you burn more fat, the lauric acid in coconut oil can kill bacteria, viruses and fungi, in general it helps to stave off infections, further it protects hair against damage and moisturizes your skin and gets you nice, shiny hair.

Madonna, Rihanna as well as Sienna Miller swear on their coconut water.

And Miranda Kerr says: “Every day I use four teaspoons of coconut oil in my salads, meals and grean tee.”

Morning Snack:

Almonds: they are packed with vitamins, minerals, protein and fiber. They are a source of vitamin E, copper, magnesium, and high quality protein. Just a handful of almonds, contains one-eighth of our necessary daily protein.

During the day…

Green tea, as well as dandelion and nettle tea are great for your metabolism. They help you to loose weight and are good for your skin. If you prepare the tea give some fresh sliced ginger and fresh squeezed lemon juice by. If you prepare 2 liters of this mixture you can drink it evenly throughout the day. It gives you power and is really healthy for your body and health.

Jennifer Aniston drinks every morning fresh squeezed lemon juice to stimulate her metabolism.

Lunch:

Quinoa salad with salmon. Quinoa is the world’s most popular ‘superfood’.

It is loaded with protein, fiber and minerals, but doesn’t contain any gluten. It is protein-rich, contains almost twice as much fiber as most other grains, contains Iron as well as lysine, it is rich in magnesium, and is high in riboflavin (B2) and has a high content of manganese. Just add some olive oil, and cider vinegar as well as salt and pepper.

Salmon contains a lot of healthy protein as well as the essential blockbuster omega 3s, DHA and EPA. The mix of these vital substances make us happy, smart and pain-free. Further they make shiny hair, healthy nails and pretty skin.

And how about a cantaloupe melon for dessert. They are delicious and super draining.

Afternoon-Snack:

Kale Chips, as kale is low in calorie, high in fiber and has zero fat. As well high in iron, and vitamin A, C and K. Further it is filled with powerful antioxidants and calcium.

As it stimulates fat burning, let you feel saturated for very long and actually has zero calories it is a great detox snack.

 

Recipe for the kale-chips:

First of all prepare a marinade with coconut oil, olive oil, salt, pepper and other spices you like. Then wash the kale thoroughly and speckle them dry. Now dip the kale through the marinade and place them on the baking sheet. Then bake them with max. 130° for about 40 minutes. Don’t forget to open the oven every 10 min. for a while, so the moisture can get out.

Dinner:

Coconut-Curry-Soup with chicken and vegetables

Chicken: High in protein and rich in phosphorus, an essential mineral it supports your teeth and bones, as well as kidney, liver, and central nervous system functions. Because of the amino acid homocysteine it is good for your heart. Further good for your hormone, metabolism, and immune functions. As well it is a metabolism booster and rich in niacin.

Add some coconut milk (the benefits of it you find above) and curry powder. The more spicy it is, the more your metabolism gets stimulated. If the coconut milk is too thick add some broth. Further lace some vegetables of your choice and cook everything together.
